Under our own CairgoBag label and prescriptions, manufacturing is done in countries as the United States, Mexico, Finland and Asia.

Our dunnage bags are tested and approved by the AAR (Association of American Railroads). If you want to read about this certification, you can contact Cairgo or contact one of our dealers.

CairgoBag models & sizes

CairgoBag dunnage bags are available in several sizes, strengths and with different inflating systems. Our regular sizes are:

CairgoBag inflating systems

Which inflating system to use depends on the demands of the user.

If, for example, you don’t want to re-use the dunnage bag, but it needs to inflate very fast; then the FastFill system is suitable for you.

CairgoBag materials

The materials that Cairgo uses to manufacture the bags are the best you can get. Each material has its own specifications.

Paper

Paper bags are made of high-quality moisture resistant Kraft paper and have a polyethylene (PE) inner liner that holds the air.

Poly-woven

Poly-woven is a new material in the dunnage bag industry. It is a strong and long-lasting material, that is weatherproof resistant and has a excellent resistance to harsh chemical environments. Ideal for the reusable dunnage bags.

Paper Bags

Paper bags are available with several inflating systems, finishing’s and in different strengths, also called ply’s. The paper bags consist of three basic parts. The outer kraft paper, the inner polyethylene bladder and the valve. The paper bags are ideal for one-time use, because they are recyclable.

CairgoBag dunnage bags consist of three basic parts. The outer kraft paper liner, the inner polyethylene (RE) bladder and the valve. Once the paper liner and PE bladder are separated, they can be recycled and only the valve must be thrown away.

Ply

The paper dunnage bags are available in several strengths. The strength depends on the number of layers or ply’s.

The more layers, the stronger the bag is. Each ply has a maximum inflation, indicated by PSI

Finishing

The finishing indicates the way the dunnage bags are closed up at the bottom. The paper bags have several finishings as you can see on the right.

Poly-woven Bags

Poly-woven is a new material in the dunnage bag industry. It is a strong and long-lasting material, that is water resistant and thus ideal for the reusable dunnage bags.

The poly-woven bags are available with different valves but all have the same finishing; namely a sewn end.

Poly-woven Bags

The poly-woven dunnage bags are available in several strengths also called levels. The strength depends on the number of grams per square metre. The coloured stripe on the bag indicates which level it is.

Finishing

As indicated in the text above, the poly-woven bags are only available with the SE finishing.

CairgoBag specials

Cairgo also has some special dunnage bags for specific applications.

AR abrasion resistant

These bags are manufactured with Kraft linear board. Because of this the bag easily slides into narrow voids and literally stands up in a void making installation and inflation much simpler. Furthermore because of the material, the bag stays strong and intact.

At Cairgo it is possible to choose from four different inflating systems. Each with its own unique user functions. On this page we explain the different systems and you can examine the product photo graphics with associated product description.

CairgoBag inflating systems

Which inflating system to use depends on the demands of the user.

If, for example, you don’t want to re-use the dunnage bag, but it needs to inflate very fast; then the FastFill system is suitable for you.

CairgoBag SuperFlow

SuperFlow

Its reusable design enables you to maximize your investment in load securement by reusing the same air bag multiple times where allowable. It’s also an environmentally friendly choice for securing your load, because it’s 100% recyclable.

Fast

The typical inflation time of 2 minutes can be reduced to 38 seconds (approx.)

The SuperFlow inflator is unique, utilizing both compressed and ambient air (Venturi Effect), enabling it to achieve unequalled inflation speeds.

Consistent
By setting the desired pressure on the air line regulator, you can achieve consistent inflation. No more over-inflated or under-inflated air bags.

Once the desired level of air pressure has been achieved, the SuperFlow inflator ceases to inflate the dunnage bag. This reverses the air flow and redirects it out the back of the inflator. This also indicates to the operator that the bag is properly inflated, preventing over inflation.

Reusable
By pushing our unique, patented blue valve flapper, operators can quickly deflate the dunnage bag and reposition it or store it for reuse.

Cost Effective
The SuperFlow system can be used multiple times and inflates the bag in less than half the time it normally takes. Significantly reducing the cost per use and labour costs.

CairgoBag HeavyFill

HeavyFill

This is the system which you need for heavy work. It has been designed to last for a long period of time, build to resist. The solid design is easy in use and gives the possibility to reuse the dunnage bag. You can empty the bag, both slow and rapidly, slowly to reposition the bag and rapidly to store it for reuse.

HeavyFill valve connector with quick coupling

Connector, which can be connected very quickly and directly to a basic or heavy design air tool. To connect a HeavyFill valve for inflating a dunnage bag with the CairgoBag HeavyFill inflating system.

CairgoBag FastFill

FastFill

This system is for the one-way dunnage bags. It allows the user to fill it as fast as possible and throw away afterwards. It is not possible to reuse the bag after inflation. It’s a cheap and fast solution for a fast moving company.

Connector, which can be connected very quickly and directly to a basic or heavy design air tool. To connect a FastFill valve for inflating a dunnage bag with the CairgoBag FastFill inflating system.

Optistow® is a by Cairgo developed program, specially for our dealers, to provide you with a fitting advice concerning dunnage bags and load plans.

It provides you with complete information about how to load your: container, truck or rail-car in the most efficient and safe way. It tells you where to place the dunnage bags and which bag is best for your cargo. It even considers the load specifications of different country destinations.

The program also has the possibility to make a three-dimensional image of the load plan. For an optimal understanding of the given information.

The program Optistow® is developed for our dealers and is not available for clients. The information is personalised for every client and is available on demand.
